The boys were exhausted by the end of play time! :)

We PASSED court today! Our MOWYCA letter was written on the last day before rainy season!
We were totally surprised!
We do know that God's timing is always best
and are so excited we are able to bring the children home sooner than later.

We have sooooo much to do to get ready and once 2 boys head out to college we will start rearranging rooms!

Thank you thank you thank you
for standing with us this far and please continue to pray for us and the kids!

  5. Oh my word! They are gorgeous. I see you're keeping their given names and I'm interested in how old they are (maybe you've said this in a former post?).

How soon until you can go get them?

I'm so happy for you. Laurie

  6. Thank you all for your encouraging words and rejoicing with us! :)

    Laurie,
We are adding American names to their Ethiopian ones but haven't exactly decided on them yet :)
We are looking at 6-8 weeks depending if Embassy requires anything else.

How is your journey coming along? :)

  10. Wow. That is awesome.

We are scheduled to be fingerprinted on 8/17 and then hopefully get our I-797 soon after that. I will be thrilled if I can have our dossier logged into China by October first. Praying, but having huge waves of anxiety. Our sermon this weekend was, "Do you want God or do you want God to make your life work?" Um, ouch.

We can related with the huge waves of anxiety. One step at a time instead of trying to figure out the whole picture :) I will be praying along side you.
